Outrageous Iran Accuses Kim Kardashian of Being a Secret Agent
Iran is accusing Kim Kardashian West of being a secret agent because of her provocative Instagram photos.
The Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corp has claimed that Kardashian is working with Instagram's CEO to influence the Islamic republic's youth by portraying a lifestyle that is at odds with Islam.
"Ms. Kim Kardashian is a popular fashion model so Instagram’s CEO tells her, 'Make this native,'" Mostafa Alizadeh, spokesman for the Guards' Organized Cyberspace Crimes Unit, said. “There is no doubt that financial support is involved as well. We are taking this very seriously."
Iran is cracking down on models with Instagram accounts that they allege are attempting to subvert the "Islamic Iranian lifestyle."
Alizadeh blamed foreign powers for the "controversial" Instagram modeling pages.
"They are targeting young people and women," he said. "Foreigners are behind it because it is targeting families. These schemes originate from around the Persian Gulf and England. When you draw the operational graph, you will see that it is a foreign operation."
Kardashian, who has more than 70 million followers on the popular image-sharing platform, drew criticism earlier this year when she posted a nude pic.
