An Ohio woman facing charges for shoplifting ran out of court and prompted a wild police chase upon discovering she was also wanted for arrests in Kentucky, local media reports.

Even worse, she did it all with her 3-year-old in her minivan, leading police to suspend their pursuit out of safety concerns for the child.

Disturbing footage suggests the suspect did not share those concerns.

Erica Barreiro-Rapp, who is wanted in Kentucky for heroin possession, tampering with evidence and carrying a concealed weapon, was seen driving over front lawns, jumping curbs and running a red light, Happening Now reported.

Springdale police eventually caught up to her at a nearby motel, where a man told officers she had stormed into his room and jumped out of a first-floor window with her child.

The child was reportedly not hurt.

Barreiro-Rapp remained at large as of Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to come forward via the Crimestoppers hotline, shown here.
