Now that Michael Strahan is leaving “Live,” would Anderson Cooper be interested in joining Kelly Ripa as her new co-host?

Megyn Kelly settled the question in a wide-ranging Kelly File interview with the CNN anchor tonight.

“You have that fun side, you did a talk show,” she pointed out. “Is that something you’d be interested in?”

“I haven’t heard that question,” Cooper replied. “Nobody’s talked to me, I haven’t heard a thing about it. I love Kelly Ripa, everybody knows she’s a great friend of mine.”

Cooper said that while he’s “always open to new opportunities,” he’s “very happy at CNN.”

“I’m not going anywhere, and I love CNN,” he added.
