“I don’t want anybody [to] burst my bubble this trip.”

That’s what a Florida man said as he ventured out from the shores of Pompano Beach with his sights set on Bermuda – again.

Crowds cheered as Reza Baluchi strode along the water inside an inflatable bubble known as a “HydroPod.”

But the U.S. Coast Guard wasn’t quite as impressed. Learning that Baluchi had violated their order "not to embark," they later had to pick him up and tow his bubble back to shore.

This is not Baluchi’s first attempt to reach Bermuda by bubble. The endurance runner made headlines two years ago, when he tried a similar voyage and apparently dropped his GPS into the ocean.

His goal from all this? To “raise money for world peace around the world,” he told a reporter. “I want [to] show people I give my heart, my love to people for good cause.”
