Hillary: Joining a Gang Is Like Having a Family

A Hillary Clinton supporter who came out to Fox News’ America’s Town Hall tonight asked Ted Cruz how he would plan to run against the Democratic front-runner if they go to head-to-head.

Boos rippled among the crowd, which Cruz addressed by thanking the young voter for showing up.

“This is not an easy crowd to be in, as a Hillary supporter,” Cruz said, prompting laughter from the audience.

“I can’t wait to stand on a debate stage with Hillary Clinton,” he added. “Because my campaign against her is going to be the same as my campaign has been on the primary – it’s going to be based on substance and the issues.”

Cruz reminded the Pennsylvania voter that “when others have gotten personal and nasty, I haven’t responded in kind.”

“I’m not gonna do that with Hillary either, and instead I’m going to focus on substance,” he said.
