Eric Trump on Justice Saturday called on Ted Cruz and John Kasich to suspend their bids for the presidency, saying, “They should do it and they should do it quickly.”

“The sooner they can drop out, the sooner we can turn our attention to Hillary,” Donald Trump’s son told Judge Jeanine Pirro, pointing out that Cruz has repeatedly urged Kasich to leave the race.

“Now, there’s no path for Cruz, right? I mean, he would need to win 105 percent of the remaining delegates or whatever it is … I mean, it’s about as hypocritical as it comes.”

Trump also responded to his father’s refusal to “tone it down” at a rally yesterday, where Donald Trump had asked supporters, “Isn’t it nice that I’m not one of these teleprompter guys?”

“Well, listen, it’s one of the things that makes him so special,” said Eric.

“If you look at the turnout at the polls, right, you have two and three times as many people coming out to the polls to vote, you know, and that’s because of him. And that’s because he’s larger than life, and that’s because he’s actually bringing some personality into politics.”
