A man was arrested for abusing Cocaine.

Not the drug, a young dog who - for some reason - was given that name.

An investigation was opened after a disturbing Facebook video surfaced showing a man dangling a white pit bull puppy by its neck over a second-floor railing, according to the Orlando Police Department.

The video has since been deleted, but that didn't stop authorities from tracking down Orlando resident Ransom May.

May was arrested on Tuesday and faces animal cruelty charges. He remains in jail in lieu of $1,000 bail.

"As soon as the incident was brought to our attention, Orlando Police investigated and arrested May," the department wrote in a Facebook post. "The video received a lot of attention on social media, so we wanted everyone to know that May is behind bars."

Cocaine, the dog, is safe.
