Fiery Sheriff Clarke: 'Best Thing About the Obama Presidency Is That It's Coming to an End'
Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke said on "Fox and Friends" today that President Obama took office with three objectives: destroy American exceptionalism, obliterate the U.S. Constitution and eradicate the Republican Party.
"He's done pretty well with those three objectives, but he's done nothing else for the American people," Clarke said. "We used to be the envy of the world - before he became president - but I don't think that that's the case anymore."
Clarke said that Obama simply isn't respected on the world stage by his fellow leaders, whether it's Vladimir Putin or Benjamin Netanyahu.
He added that Obama's calls for conservatives and liberals to meet in the middle on issues are ridiculous, since the president has never compromised, whether it's the Keystone pipeline, the Iran nuclear agreement or the Trans-Pacific Partnership.
"The best thing about the Obama presidency right now is that it's coming to an end, and America's nightmare will be over," Clarke said. "We'll be able to pick up the ruins left by him and put this country back together again."
