Some Are Furious Over This Video of a Baby Struggling to Swim

A Southern mom was tired of her kids being on their phones all the time.

But what she did next was jaw-dropping – she lined up their iPhones and destroyed them, one by one.

A surreal video posted online shows probably one of a child’s worst nightmares: the mom first taking aim at the phones with a rifle, then a sledgehammer.

“I hereby denounce the effects that social media have on my children. Their disobedience and their disrespect,” she declares, shooting an iPhone placed on a tree trunk.

“I refuse to be cursed, I refuse to be disobeyed. I take back my role as your parent,” the mom announces as the camera pans to broken remnants lying on the ground.

“Get a shot of them,” she commands the man filming.

The video then cuts to three kids standing with their arms folded. One child appears to flip off the cameraman.

As the mom raises the sledgehammer, she then delivers a powerful monologue:

“My children’s lives are more important to me than any electronic on this Earth.

I refuse to have them influenced in negative ways. Contacting people they don’t know, being involved in drama they don’t need to be in, and being in trouble in school for having phones out.”

Clayton Morris said it was ironic that her message was then posted on social media.
