The Boston Globe has printed a fake front page that is making real headlines today.

The editorial envisions what they call “Donald Trump’s America.” It starts with an all-caps prediction of mass “deportations," and warns of a looming “trade war.”

Other morbid headlines appear to knock the GOP front-runner on his comments regarding immigration. They read, “President Trump calls for tripling of ICE force; riots continue” and “U.S. soldiers refuse orders to kill ISIS families.”

The editorial also projects a halt to the construction of a border wall, “dealing a major setback to one of President Trump’s key campaign promises, after Mexico refused to pay.”

An editorial note read as follows:

“This is Donald Trump’s America.

What you read on this page is what might happen if the GOP frontrunner can put his ideas into practice, his words into action.

Many Americans might find this vision appealing, but the Globe’s editorial board finds it deeply troubling.”

“This strikes me as the media not just opposing Donald Trump,” said Fox News media analyst Howard Kurtz.

“Not just saying, ‘he’s a bad candidate, would be a terrible president,’ but almost screaming that he’s a threat to Western civilization.”
