Outrageous Hillary: 'I Feel Sorry' for Sanders' Voters Who Believe Lies About Me
Hillary Clinton is continuing to push back against Bernie Sanders’ so-called “lies” on her record with fossil fuels and other issues.
In an interview yesterday on NBC’s Meet the Press, Clinton responded to a clip that showed her losing her cool with an environmental activist who asked about her donations from fossil fuel lobbyists.
“I feel sorry sometimes for the young people who, you know, believe this,” she told Chuck Todd.
“They don’t do their own research, and I’m glad that we now can point to reliable, independent analysis to say, ‘No, it’s just not true.’”
Clinton went on to say that Sanders’ claims “have been debunked” by independent analysts.
The Five reacted to her remarks today, noting that despite the former Secretary of State’s efforts, the Vermont senator actually outraised Clinton in March by a whopping $15 million.
“Unbelievable,” said Juan Williams. “Supposedly Bernie is just hanging in there. No! [He raised] $44 million in one month!”
“She’s trying to portray him as ‘lyin’ Bernie,’ and it’s not working,” Kimberly Guilfoyle commented.
