Actor LeVar Burton stepped into the FOXlight with Michael Tammero to dish on the "Reading Rainbow" digital reboot.

The iconic children's educational show, which aired on PBS from 1983 to 2006, is now launching again after a Kickstarter campaign raised $6.5 million.

Burton said that money was able to fund the creation of "Skybrary School," a web app that teachers and students can use in schools.

He said the goal is to give away the software to get it into 10,000 classrooms and they're about halfway there.
