You don't have to be a human being to enjoy some holiday traditions!

As part of their annual Easter celebrations, the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden hosted a gorilla Easter egg hunt on March 23.

A YouTube video shows the zoo's western lowland gorillas searching throughout their enclosure, hunting down eggs while holding their baskets.

Gladys, M'Linzi and Samantha, the gorillas that participated in the activity, also hunted for beads and crackers.

“We give them enrichment every single day, [but] this is a little bit more extravagant than what we do on a daily basis, so they are getting more treats and that sort of thing today,” a zookeeper said. "They really like hard-boiled eggs so they’re running around trying to gather as much as they can.”
