Herridge: Brothers Rented Brussels Safehouse of Paris Suspect
Fox News chief intelligence correspondent Catherine Herridge brought us the latest on the suicide bomber brothers who struck in Brussels yesterday.
The suspect seen walking next to the suspects is still being hunted by authorities.
The brothers - Ibrahim el-Bakraoui, 30, and Khalid el-Bakraoui, 27 - were said to have a lengthy rap sheet, but their previous crimes were not terror-related.
The bombers both wore one glove and it's believed that was meant to conceal the detonators for the luggage bombs.
Herridge said that an al Qaeda manual instructs terrorists to use a leather glove in order to prevent a static charge from prematurely triggering the device.
And she said that the two brothers rented the Brussels safehouse used by Paris terror suspect Salah Abdeslam, who was caught last week.
Herridge called that a "key data point that links the two events."
Ibrahim el-Bakraoui and another man blew themselves up at the airport, while Khalid el-Bakraoui carried out a suicide attack at a nearby subway station.
