At a recent rally in Arizona, Sen. Bernie Sanders had tough words for Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio over the sheriff's stance on illegal immigration.

"It's easy for bullies like Sheriff Arpaio to pick on people who have no power," Sanders said in Flagstaff. "If I'm elected president, the president of the United States does have the power! Watch out, Joe."

Arpaio responded on "Risk & Reward" today, said he didn't find Sanders' words for him "professional" after he took Sanders' wife Jane on a tour of the "Tent City" outdoor jail that the sheriff helps to run.

He also disputed Sanders' claim that the sheriff didn't have an answer to Mrs. Sanders' questions about the conditions of the facility.

"This is strictly politics," Arpaio said. "They're very angry. The Democratic party, they're angry at themselves because they say they gave me a forum to get more publicity. That's all this is about."
