Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump said on "Fox and Friends" this morning that he will not be participating in the next Fox News GOP debate.

The debate is scheduled to take place on Monday, March 21, live from Salt Lake City.

Trump told the "Fox and Friends" co-hosts that he wasn't aware that there was going to be another debate, so he booked a speaking engagement on the same day.

"I think we've had enough debates," Trump said. "How many times can the same people ask you the same question?"

"Nobody told me about the debate," he added. "They hit me with it yesterday or something. And I said, 'I'm not going to be here.'"

"So I'm not going to be doing the debate."
