'Ohio, I Love Ya': John Kasich Gives Victory Speech After Defeating Trump

Ted Cruz told voters there is “a clear choice” between him and Donald Trump after tonight’s GOP state contests.

Speaking from his hometown of Houston, the Texas senator paid his respects to Marco Rubio, who just dropped out of the race, and appeared to dismiss John Kasich’s chances of the nomination.

“To those that supported Marco, who worked so hard, we welcome you with open arms,” said Cruz.

“Starting tomorrow morning, every Republican has a clear choice. Only two campaigns have a plausible path to the nomination – ours, and Donald Trump’s. Nobody else has any mathematical possibility whatsoever.”

Cruz again said that his campaign is the only one that “has beaten Donald Trump, over and over and over again … from Alaska to Maine.”

“Going forward, the choice is straightforward,” he declared.

“Do you want a candidate who shares your values, or a candidate who has spent decades opposing your values?”
