Fox News can now project that Hillary Clinton will beat Bernie Sanders in North Carolina’s Democratic presidential primary, based on Fox exit polls and early vote returns.

Combined with her Florida victory, Clinton has now completed a sweep of all Southern states.

The candidates are competing for a total of 691 delegates across five states -- Florida, Ohio, Illinois, Missouri and North Carolina.
