A Powerful Message From a Married Police Officer Couple Is Going Viral

Here's a family reunion that will melt your heart!

In a video posted to Facebook by the Marin Humane Society in California, a mother dog who was surrendered to the shelter is reunited with her puppies.

The video shows the scared mother initially cowering in the corner at the shelter. When her four puppies who she had been separated from are brought into the room, her personality immediately - and completely - changes.

The mother's tail wags as she interacts with her puppies. The adorable pups begin to nurse as the mother slowly calms down from the surprise reunion.

In the Facebook post, the shelter explains that the mother, who they've named Cora, was surrendered to the shelter along with another dog. After an examination, they realized Cora had recently had puppies. They convinced the owner to also surrender the little ones, as they still needed their mother.

According to the shelter's Facebook page, Cora and puppies - who have been dubbed Carson, Branson, Moseley and Edith, all in honor of "Downton Abbey" - are all doing well.

"We captured the moment when sad and scared mom got to see her puppies again. Tears of joy all around at this happy reunion," the shelter posted.
