At tonight's GOP debate, Donald Trump was asked about violence at his rallies and if he has encouraged it.
"I hope not," he says. He says people love this country and are angry at taxes, bad deals and job losses.
When confronted with some of his quotes where he seems to support violence, he says some protesters have done real damage to people and been violent.
"We have some protesters who are some bad dudes," Trump said.
He also said the country should pay respects to police, who put up with a lot.
