O'Reilly: Media Trying to Demean Trump & Supporters With 'Fascist' Talk
In tonight's Talking Points, Bill O'Reilly called out media figures making comparisons between Donald Trump and 1930's fascists, saying it's part of a strategy to demean them.
"It's more than a stretch; it's a strategy, with the intention of not only demeaning Trump, but his supporters as well," O'Reilly said.
O'Reilly then listed a number of grievances Americans have after the past few years, including "intense verbal attacks on police officers," a "porous southern border," and a "growing jihadist terror threat."
"In the face of all that," O'Reilly said, "an avenger named Trump has risen, promising to stop the madness and giving blunt voice to millions of angry Americans."
"The movement that Trump represents has nothing to do with fascism and everything to do with furious dissent."
