Jenner: 'Hillary Couldn't Care Less About Women, She Cares About Herself'
Just days after lauding Ted Cruz, Caitlyn Jenner had some harsh words for Hillary Clinton on her E! reality show.
Jenner was shown in a heated conversation with her transgender friends about going to a Democratic debate.
"It's the last place I want to be," Jenner told them on the Season 2 premiere of "I Am Cait."
"[Hillary] couldn't care less about women. She cares about herself," said Jenner, adding that it would be "unfortunate" if Clinton is the next president.
The 66-year-old's views clearly did not sit well with her friends, with one calling on her to "embrace the fight for women's lives."
"Yes, but we're 18-and-a-half trillion dollars in debt. Our economy is going to collapse!" she responded.
She later lamented the fact that her friends believe she can no longer be a conservative after her transition.
"I think I can keep all of my views the same because I feel in my heart that that's the best way to go," she said, adding that Republicans and conservatives "are not these horrible people who are trying oppress people."
Jenner was quoted last week as saying she "likes" Ted Cruz and offered to be his "trans ambassador."
“I think he’s very conservative and a great constitutionalist and a very articulate man. I haven’t endorsed him or anything like that. But I also think, he’s an evangelical Christian, and probably one of the worst ones when it comes to trans issues," she said.
