Army Sergeant Accused of Killing Police Officer Her First Day on the Job

Person of Interest Identified in Kidnapping of 2-Month-Old Baby Girl

A beloved 70-year-old pastor was shot dead in his Ohio church office this weekend, just toward the end of Sunday service.

The case took another shocking turn as police revealed that the suspected gunman is his own brother.

They say it was around 12:30 pm on Sunday when the Rev. William B. Schooler was shot at St. Peter’s Missionary Baptist Church in Dayton.

His brother, 68-year-old Daniel Gregory Schooler, was arrested afterward.

According to local reports, the motive is currently unknown.

But Daniel has been charged with crimes in the past, and is said to be battling mental illness, America’s Newsroom reports.

“We have lost a great person,” church member Mary Martin told Fox 45. “He’d walk up to strangers and talk to them about the Lord.”

Police say Daniel is facing an expected murder charge and will appear in court today.
