Over the weekend, former Mexican President Vicente Fox said that Donald Trump reminded him of Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler.

Fox told CNN that Trump was going to take the U.S. "back to the old days of conflict, war and everything."

"I mean, he reminds me of Hitler. He has offended Mexico, Mexicans, (and) immigrants. He has offended the Pope. He has offended the Chinese. He's offended everybody."

Tonight on "On the Record," Greta Van Susteren gave Fox a chance to walk down that statement.

"Was that just you getting hot under the collar or do you believe that?" Greta asked.

Fox said no, it's what he believes, citing the GOP frontrunner's "messages" and "language."

"A lot of things show that he's a retaliatory person, that he's egocentric, and that he's a false prophet," Fox said.
