TX Gov. Abbott: Ted Cruz 'Will Put the U.S. Back on Its Constitutional Pathway'

Tantaros: Romney's Attack on Trump Is Just Like Harry Reid in 2012

At tonight's GOP debate in Houston, Ted Cruz said that while he was fighting illegal immigration, Trump was hiring people on "Celebrity Apprentice."

"When I was leading the fight against the Gang of Eight amnesty bill," Cruz said, "where was Donald? He was firing Dennis Rodman."

He then agreed with Marco Rubio that Trump hired illegal immigrants and was fined for it.

Trump says he got on with everyone, while Cruz got on with no one in the Senate.

"You don't have the endorsement of one Republican senator and you work with these people. You should be ashamed of yourself," Trump said.

Cruz agreed, saying that when you stand up to Washington, you lose a lot of friends.

"If you want to be liked in Washington, that isn't a good attribute of a president," Cruz said.
