On The Kelly File tonight, Ben Carson reacted to criticisms that he's acting as a "spoiler" in the 2016 race and should drop out, in order for the Republican Party to unite.

Carson said that pundits and the political establishment like to think that they're in control, but it's really the people who have the power.

"Everybody wants to call the game after the first inning," Carson said. "I think we’ve got a ways to go yet."

He said the U.S. is in "critical condition," and he doesn't see anyone else who's going to do anything about it.

"We've had so many people who are controlled," Carson said. "Either they are on the puppet end of the string or the puppet master end of the string."
