Tantaros: 'Highly Hypocritical' of Obama to Lecture GOP About SCOTUS

Obama: SCOTUS Vacancy Offers Chance to Rise Above 'Venom and Rancor' of D.C.

Charles Krauthammer said on "The Kelly File" tonight it's obvious that President Obama is skipping Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia's funeral this weekend because he disagreed with everything Scalia stood for.

"He's going to stay home, and he doesn't care how it looks and what other people think," Krauthammer said.

He added that if there's a political reason - and not just that personal one - then it's because Obama's nominee to replace Scalia will likely be the late justice's antithesis.

Krauthammer said that no one should be surprised if Obama is acting in a partisan way and failing to rise to the majesty of the office of the president of the United States.

"He's been the most divisive, partisan president in recent memory," Krauthammer said. "I am not surprised at all ... I think it's completely par for the course."
