Nikki Haley: Why I'm Endorsing Marco Rubio

Poll: Hillary and Bernie Locked in Dead Heat for Nevada

On Special Report tonight, Charles Krauthammer weighed in on some new polls out of South Carolina which he said shows the "plurality" problem facing the GOP establishment.

A new Quinnipiac poll showed Trump leading the field, with 39% of the vote.

But hypothetical matchups against Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio showed Trump trailing by 16 points in both of those head-to-heads.

Krauthammer said the problem facing candidates other than Trump is not there is a "wholesale majority revolt of Trumpites against the Washington establishment," but that the "anti-Trump vote is so split."

If other Republicans in the race consolidated behind one candidate, Krauthammer said, "it would beat him."

"If the vote remains split, it may never consolidate and Trump will win the nomination."
