Since completing his last chemo treatment two weeks ago, all little Aiden wanted for his third birthday were cards wishing him love and support.

And thanks to local news stations covering his story, that's just what he got!

Aiden Kramer's family estimates he received more than 4,000 cards for his Valentine's Day birthday!

He was diagnosed six months ago with acute myeloid leukemia and has since been staying at Children's Hospital Los Angeles.

"I'm here in the hospital because my blood got sick," he told Fox.

But after finishing treatment, his family hopes he'll finally be able to return home by the end of the month.

Until then, he has thousands of cards to read through to keep him going!

Aiden's mother told Inside Edition that he especially likes getting cards from other kids. "It makes him feel better that there are people that can relate, that ‘it’s not just me,’” she said.

She said the family was overjoyed and overwhelmed by the outpouring.

"Survivors are sharing their stories, people who had lost family members, people offering up their stories. We just had tears all night long.”

Cards have been flowing in from countries including the United Kingdom, Ireland, South Africa, Bulgaria, Hungary, and Austria. “It’s bigger than anything we ever anticipated,” she said.

The family has also started an Amazon wish list for the other sick children at the hospital.
