The prosecutor's office in Berrien County, Michigan, has released a graphic dash cam video from a police cruiser that struck and killed a pedestrian crossing the street.

"I need emergency units to my location. I need medic trucks. I think I hit a person," former officer Eugene Anderson says to radio dispatchers in the video moments after his police cruiser hits a woman.

Kimberly Bedford, 48, died at the scene.

Anderson, who was speeding and driving without siren or lights en route to a domestic call, has been fired and charged in the September incident.

Anderson faces up to a year in jail for operating a motor vehicle causing death, a misdemeanor.
