SC Democrat Withdraws Support from Hillary, Endorses Bernie

Bernie Sanders spoke to ecstatic supporters after tonight's big win in the New Hampshire Democratic primary.

"We have sent a message that will echo from Wall Street to Washington: The government of our great country belongs to all the people,” Sanders said.

"Let us never forget, Democrats and progressives win when voter turnout is high. Republicans win when people are demoralized and voter turnout is low. Tonight, we serve notice."

The Vermont senator was looking to rebound from his narrow Iowa loss with a big victory over former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Sanders needed a win in the Granite State tonight in order to stay competitive with Clinton, who took Iowa and is favored in upcoming contests in Nevada and South Carolina.
