Gutfeld Rips 'Liberal Critics' for Trying to Marginalize '13 Hours' Film
On "The Five" today, Greg Gutfeld reacted to "liberal critics" pointing out that several films have been outpacing "13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi" at the box office.
"How odd: Left-wingers are now interested in profit to gauge success," Gutfeld remarked. "Wasn't seeking the almighty dollar 'evil,' which is why they prefer plotless independent films that star James Franco?"
Gutfeld asserted that if "13 Hours" bashed capitalism or exposed "the homophobia of middle America," then the media wouldn't be so focused on box office receipts.
"Suddenly, for '13 Hours,' it's way different, because it's the one film in Hollywood - out of thousands - that escaped their grubby, little, progressive paws," Gutfeld said. "They hate that a movie with Western sympathies actually exists."
