O'Reilly: If GOP Can't Beat Dems in 2016, When Will They Ever?
In his Talking Points Memo tonight, Bill O'Reilly sounded off on last night's Democratic debate and the state of the Democratic Party.
O'Reilly said that Martin O'Malley has no shot at getting the nomination, while Bernie Sanders, as a socialist, also has no chance of becoming commander-in-chief.
"The Factor" host pointed out that the media loves to mock Donald Trump for dubious things he says.
"But Sanders makes Trump look like Abraham Lincoln," O'Reilly said, noting that Sanders' proposals include destroying Wall Street, providing all Americans with free health care and making all public colleges tuition-free.
"If Bernie Sanders were ever elected president, the economy would collapse, companies would flee abroad and the USA would turn into Venezuela," O'Reilly stated. "That's why Bernie Sanders will not be president."
He added that Hillary Clinton also offered a litany of unrealistic proposals while laying out no specific strategies to deal with the economy, terrorism or immigration.
"Do you really believe that if Sanders or Clinton are elected president, they can unilaterally destroy banks, insurance companies and drug companies? Do you really believe that?" O'Reilly asked.
"All in all, if the Republicans cannot beat the Democrat Party in 2016, when will they ever beat it?"
