See Which 'Superstar' Moment Went Off the Charts for GOP Debate Focus Group
Of the entire Fox Business GOP debate tonight, one particular moment stood out for Frank Luntz’s focus group in Charleston, South Carolina.
That moment, shown in The Kelly File’s post-debate coverage tonight, was of Marco Rubio speaking out on gun rights.
Here’s what Rubio said:
“Criminals don’t buy their guns from a gun show. They don’t buy their guns from a collector. And they don’t buy their guns from a gun store.
They steal them, they get them on the black market. And let me tell you, ISIS and terrorists do not get their guns from a gun show.”
Rubio went on to say that President Obama’s “immediate answer” to any act of violence in America, “before he even knows the facts, is gun control.”
It looks like the Florida senator's remarks have paid off.
Voters showered praise on Rubio, calling him “unwavering” and a “superstar.”
“He said something that I think a lot of people are failing to understand – that the Second Amendment is not a debate,” one man explained.
“It’s a Constitutional right. And to point that out and make that clear, really [is] a very strong point for me.”
Watch more above, and check out what the same focus group made of other Republican front-runner Ted Cruz, here.
