It's no secret that quarterback Robert Griffin III's tenure with the Washington Redskins will likely soon be over.

A note that RGIII left in his locker appears to confirm that the former first-round draft pick won't be back with the Redskins for the 2016 season.

The letter refers to “The Paradoxical Commandments” by Dr. Kent M. Keith. According to ESPN, it also appeared under a framed verse from Philippians 3:13, along with the headline: “I can do all things.”

Griffin’s job has reportedly been in jeopardy for months. ESPN reports that the quarterback left without speaking to the press today, instead displaying the above letter that’s been tacked up in his otherwise empty locker since earlier this season.

Nonetheless, many took to social media to express their admiration for the football star and his determination.
