Mourners are calling attention to a Florida man's final Facebook post of 2015 following the news that he was killed just hours later in a motorcycle crash near Tampa.
Matthew DeRemer, 31, a Marine veteran who served in Iraq, was struck and killed at an intersection by a drunk driver on New Year's Eve night.
Earlier in the day, the motorcycle enthusiast had written a Facebook post that read in part: “I really don't know where I'll end up tonight but I do know where I wind up is where I'm meant to be.”
To mark the end of 2015, he also shared an image that contained the following inspirational words: We are born in 1 day. We die in 1 day. We can change in 1 day. And we can fall in love in 1 day. Anything can happen in just 1 day."
