A Texas man whose home was destroyed by this weekend's tornadoes got a much-needed pick-me-up when he found his dogs OK in the rubble.

According to FOX 4 in Dallas, Michael Delgado and his daughters were at a movie Saturday night when the massive twister rolled through Rowlett.

His mother and brother took shelter in a closet of the house and survived.

Delgado's two dogs, however, were nowhere to be found.

Delgado said that when he returned to his home Monday, he heard barking coming from the rubble and along with neighbors, he was able to rescue his yellow lab, Sawyer, and Lucy, a Miniature Pinscher.

The dogs are said to be doing OK after getting checked out by a veterinarian.

The dramatic reunion with Lucy was caught on tape, which you can watch above.
