A Photographer Gave a Beautiful Gift to a Bride Who Lost Her Daughter

The Photos of These Female Doppelgangers Are Simply Uncanny

Social media is abuzz over a mysterious light that was spotted in the window of an abandoned New Orleans hospital.

A doctor at neighboring Tulane Medical Center wrote on Facebook that he heard from colleagues about the lit window - described initially as a Christmas tree - and went to the parking garage to see for himself.

"It's really pretty and a little creepy," the doctor reported. "It gave me chills when I saw it and of course made me think of my brother, who passed away at charity hospital."

Another employee also posted pictures, writing that the closed-down hospital "is a gloomy and dreary sight on the best of days...at night it's down-right scary. Until tonight."

The huge buildings used to be Charity Hospital, which closed after Hurricane Katrina did severe damage in 2005.

A spokesperson for Louisiana State University Health Sciences said that it appears someone broke into the building and that the items will be removed.

The buildings have been empty for the past decade, but plans have been proposed to renovate and turn them into apartments.
