Luntz Explains Why Trump Has Plenty of Staying Power

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump continues his dominance in the brand-new Fox News poll.

39 percent of GOP primary voters listed Trump as their preference, more than doubling Ted Cruz, who was in second place with 18 percent.

Marco Rubio and Dr. Ben Carson rounded out the top four, with 11 and nine percent, respectively, while no other candidate had better than three percent.

Carl Cameron reported on "Special Report" that another interesting takeaway from the Fox News poll was that despite the furor over Trump's proposed ban on non-U.S. Muslims entering the country, 50 percent of people approved, while 46 percent opposed.

When Trump's name was not mentioned, however, support for the ban rose to 55 percent, while opposition dropped to 40 percent.
