O'Reilly: Trump Could Win Because Voters Are 'Viscerally Angry'
Programming Alert: "The O'Reilly Factor" has a must-see post-debate interview with Donald Trump, tonight at 8/11p ET on Fox News Channel.
Bill O'Reilly stopped by the curvy couch this morning to opine on last night's GOP debate, and give his take on Donald Trump's campaign.
O'Reilly said that frustrated Republican candidates - like Jeb Bush - don't understand that this election cycle is different.
"People are really angry, really viscerally and emotionally angry. And they're not evaluating political candidates the way they would even four years ago. Obama won on emotion. Trump could win on emotion. He could win," O'Reilly said on "Fox and Friends."
O'Reilly said that many Americans are furious heading into this presidential election because they feel like "the country is going to hell."
"On every level, it's going to hell. President Obama is going to go down in history as one of the worst presidents of all time. He's gonna be there with James Buchanan and Millard Fillmore," he said.
Overall, O'Reilly said it's "impossible to debate with nine people" on the stage, arguing that voters are having a hard time "locking in" on a candidate.
