Investigators: Wife in San Bernardino Massacre May Have Been 'an Operative'

President Obama does not seem to care about Americans' concerns about the threat of terrorism, Lt. Col. Bill Cowan (Ret.) said on "Hannity" tonight.

"We have a president who continues to marginalize and dismiss the hard work of our law enforcement officials," Cowan said, explaining that Obama refuses to listen to his national defense advisors when it comes to ISIS and radical Islamic terror.

Sean Hannity pointed out that it's a huge failure that San Bernardino terrorist Tashfeen Malik passed three background checks by American officials before she moved from Pakistan to the United States and none of them uncovered her social media posts about jihad.

"That failure of leadership goes all the way to the top. Nobody’s ever held accountable for failures of leadership in this administration," Cowan said.

He added that the Obama admin will continue to "bumble along" until the American public puts pressure on them or until a new president takes office.

Lt. Col. Michael Waltz added that this lack of focus on national security is not very reassuring to Americans, who are more concerned about terror than they have been in ten years.

"Our law enforcement organizations and our intelligence community have to be right 100 percent of the time, and the terrorists only have to be right once," Waltz said.
