Panetta: World Must Unite, 'Go to War' Against ISIS

Anger and fear are driving American politics right now, Bill O'Reilly said in his Talking Points Memo tonight.

He noted a new Gallup poll that found Americans believe the most important problems facing the country today are terrorism (16 percent), dissatisfaction with the government (13 percent) and the economy (nine percent).

O'Reilly said this has led to the rise of Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders and other non-establishment candidates with radically different policies than those of President Obama.

"It is not a stretch to say that Barack Obama has polarized the USA as much as Richard Nixon did," O'Reilly said.

"So we are living in turbulent times. The USA is embracing political figures like Trump and Sanders, which just a few years ago would have been unthinkable," O'Reilly said.

"Even if those guys do not prevail, America is now a deeply divided and politically unhappy place where anything could happen."
