Russia Gives France a Puppy in Honor of Slain K9
Russia has presented France with a puppy in honor of the K9 service dog killed in a police raid shortly after the Paris terror attacks.
Russian officials handed over the dog in a touching ceremony yesterday at the French Embassy in Moscow.
The German shepherd is named Dobrynya, after a Russian fairytale knight, according to The Associated Press.
The puppy is hoped to symbolize Russia’s solidarity with France, particularly after officials lost their seven-year-old Belgian shepherd, Diesel, in a special operation raid in November.
