'Let's Press Pause': Paul Calls for Moratorium on Immigration from Middle East

A conservative blogger literally took shots at the New York Times after they published an editorial on their front page calling for Americans to turn in their military-style guns.

The left-leaning newspaper hadn't run an editorial on its front page in 95 years.

Erick Erickson, Editor-in-Chief of RedState.com, said on "Fox and Friends" that the Times' editorial "was so full of holes to begin with, I figured I'd put some actual ones there."

Erickson said the purpose of his stunt was to demonstrate that the paper is not going to curtail our Second Amendment rights.

"It's a constitutional right and they want to get rid of it without due process," Erickson said.

Erickson's move was met with applause from some, and derision from others, like these Twitter users.

But Erickson said that if he had known "the left would go this nuts over shooting up a newspaper," he'd have done it sooner.
