WATCH: Greta Delivers Powerful Message on 74th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor
74 years ago, on December 7, 1941, the U.S. was attacked by the nation of Japan.
In a surprise assault on Pearl Harbor, more than 2,400 Americans were killed on what President Franklin D. Roosevelt declared "a date which will live in infamy."
In her "Off the Record" commentary tonight, Greta Van Susteren saluted the brave Americans who died at Pearl Harbor and in World War II.
She said she wanted to use this anniversary to honor American courage and our collective will to do the right thing.
"Many lost their lives in World War II defending America, but one thing is certain: Those who came home and those who did not proved when America decides to do something, we can and we will."
