As President Obama tries to help seal a global climate pact at a major summit in Paris, some Republicans have questioned whether the president is focusing too much on global warming and not enough on national security.

Obama, however, called the negotiations an “act of defiance” toward those behind the Paris terror attacks.

On "Special Report," Charles Krauthammer said that Obama could take more direct action if he wants to oppose ISIS and radical Islam, such as ramping up the air campaign over Syria and destroying the terrorists' oil infrastructure, but he won't.

He said that Obama connecting terrorism to climate change reveals his idealistic, deluded worldview.

"The idea that the terrorists attacked in Paris because they wanted to prevent the leaders of the world [from] having a meeting over the rise of the oceans in 100 years is simply absurd."
