Suspected Mastermind of Paris Terror Attacks Killed in Raid

A newly-released surveillance video shows the horrific moment that a Paris cafe was attacked during Friday's massacre by ISIS.

The CCTV footage from inside the cafe, obtained by the Daily Mail, shows people running for their lives, diving to the floor in a desperate attempt to avoid at least one gunman who can be seen outside.

At one point, the gunman appears to stand over a woman with his AK-47 pointed downward.

The Mail reports that the gunman's weapon jammed or misfired, allowing the woman to run inside and eventually survive.

Customers were enjoying themselves outside that night when ISIS struck, sending them running inside.

Officials believe the gunman was 26-year-old Salah Abdeslam, who hasn't been caught

The Mail reported:

Miraculously, none of the diners or staff inside the restaurant died during the attack, which lasted less than a minute, before the gunman is seen climbing into the terrorists' black Seat getaway car.

Two diners suffered minor bullet wounds but nearby another five people, including the man collecting his Pizza, perished in the gun attack. A further eight individuals in the vicinity were seriously injured.

The restaurant is located in Paris's trendy 11th district, which is particularly popular with well-heeled middle class people who work in advertising and the media.

The name of the cafe has not been released for security reasons.
