Perino on ISIS: 'It's Not a War of Our Choosing, But We Can Choose How to Fight It'
President Obama has completely failed to articulate a coherent strategy for dealing with ISIS and the Syrian refugee crisis, Dana Perino said on "The O'Reilly Factor" tonight.
Perino told guest host Eric Bolling that Obama was very defiant during his press conference earlier this week at the G-20 summit in Turkey, insisting that progress is being made against the terror group.
She said that the most troubling thing Obama said was that Americans talking about the refugee crisis is actually a recruiting tool for ISIS.
Perino said this shows that the president fundamentally does not understand the nature of the enemy. She explained that ISIS recruits best when they have "wins," such as the Paris attacks and the bombing of a Russian jet over Egypt.
She said that Obama's refusal to listen to his advisers or change his strategy could have dangerous effects.
"It's not a war of our choosing, but we can choose how to fight it. And right now, I think that we're not fighting it well enough."
