New Audio: Woman Blows Herself Up in Police Raid on Paris Terror Mastermind
Warning: the footage above is disturbing.
New audio has surfaced of an exchange between French police and a female suicide bomber believed linked to Friday's terror attacks.
The harrowing footage reveals the moment that 26-year-old Hasna Aitboulahcen detonated her explosive vest during an early morning raid in Paris on Wednesday.
Officials believe she was the cousin of Abdelhamid Abaaoud, the ringleader behind last weekend’s massacre of 129 people.
Heavy gunfire could be heard as authorities descended on an apartment in Paris’ Saint Denis neighborhood, where Aitboulahcen had hidden out with Abaaoud and other suspected ISIS terrrorists.
An officer yelled, “Where is your boyfriend?”
She replied, “He’s not my boyfriend!”
“Where is he?” the officer shouted.
Moments later, Aitboulahcen detonated her suicide belt.
The explosion brought down the floor of the apartment, which also led to the dispersal of important DNA evidence, Martha MacCallum said on “America’s Newsroom.”
Abaaoud this morning was confirmed to have also been killed in the raid.
Aitboulahcen was reportedly a committed jihadist who at one point called herself the “cowgirl,” as she had a penchant for dressing in American-style cowboy hats.
