The Strategy Continues As Is: Breaking Down Obama's 'Striking' Remarks on Paris Terror

McFarland: Obama 'Just Not Up to the Job' of Defeating ISIS

We are currently in World War III, says Michael Goodwin.

And the world – as it has always done – looks to America to lead, he told Gretchen Carlson this afternoon.

In the clip above, Goodwin explains his latest New York Post column, where he says it is time for President Obama “to make a choice: Lead us or resign.”

“President Obama has spent the last seven years trying to avoid the world as it is,” wrote Goodwin.

“If Obama cannot rise to the challenge of leadership in this historic crisis, then, for the good of humanity, he should resign. Those are the only options and it is his duty to decide.”

“We are in World War III,” Goodwin said on “The Real Story” Monday. “And if America is not going to lead, who is? I mean, Vladimir Putin? Really?”

While there’s no doubt that the U.S. needs to work in a coalition against the Islamic State, “America is the mightiest superpower ever,” he said. “Without us, there is no following.”
